Gluten Free Kosher Meals Are Taking The World By Storm

By Raymond Morris

If you have been trying lots of new diets that promise you a healthier lifestyle and fitter body but have no effect on you, then you need to try something else. Gluten free kosher meals are the best way to maximize your health while remaining firmly in the teachings of the Jewish religion. There a lot of guidelines involved in this diet, and they have been laid out for you in a simple format below.

You must be wondering what exactly a wheat free diet entails. Basically, this means that there are no traces of wheat, barley, rye or similar types of crops that aren't as popular, such as spelt and triticale. This does not mean that you are banned from eating complex carbohydrates like bread and pasta. Instead, you will be eating versions of this product made with wheat-free substitutes.

There are quite a few wheat substitutes that you can use in basic cooking and baking techniques. For example, instead of using wheat, barley and rye flours, a good substitute is tapioca flour. A few other excellent substitutes are amaranth flour, arrow root flour, banana flour, brown rice flour, buckwheat flour, chia four, chickpea flour, coconut flour and corn flour.

The cultural reference to this diet is symbolic of a religion with strict guidelines that must be adhered to. This means that it must conform to the law of rabbis. There are a lot of guidelines involved when classifying food items as such, and these must be meticulously followed.

There are several food categories which are expressly banned, and these include creatures crawling on sand and insects that fly, but exceptions are made, such as, the grasshopper, two types of locusts and the beetle. A few other banned items are cheese in certain forms, milk originating from doubtful sources, gelatin, and the practice of eating both meat and some kind of fish in one meal.

Foods that are approved by a rabbi are a little trickier to implement than wheat free foods. This is because there a lot of food items that are banned and can only be substituted with the approved list of foods. This will include a drastic change in your lifestyle when it comes to your food options, and you must learn to become accustomed to these changes.

Avoid dairy products if you can, because a lot of these are in violation of this lifestyle. Examples of the products that are not allowed in the dairy group include cheese that has not been prepared to the specifications of the rabbi, eggs in any form, milk and milk by products which have not been collected and stored according to the laws laid out.

If you think that you are up for the challenge to take part in a lifestyle that includes only food permissible by a rabbi and does not include wheat and other similar crops, then this plan is for you. You will see the results immediately after beginning on this journey. As with any lifestyle change, consult your doctor before beginning with any diet.
